The VFC Voice - September 2006

Filed under: news — dwight @ 8:27 pm

To All,
With the placing online of this month’s new additions, Voices For Christ has reached a “plateau” of sorts.
All website destined messages, digitized from various formats during primarily the past six years, are now on the site.
Another current situation is that we have now filled up our rented server space, and will need to acquire additional room in order to keep growing. At present, no decision has been made as to exactly WHEN to purchase (actually rent) more.
To elaborate a bit further, VFC rents it’s existing server space for approximately $200.00 per month. Since the inception of the on-line
ministry, the Lord has graciously supplied the need in this area and we trust
in Him to continue to do so.
In keeping with our desire to make as little mention of financial matters as possible, we just share this information so that those who visit the site will know more about where these matters stand. One primary goal is to proceed with this acquiring of additional space as soon as we really need it, but not to rush ahead of anything
the Lord might be doing, waiting on His leading.
We definitely state that new material is continuing to be prepared for the site, and that this material continues to be sought. An example might be Labor Day and soon coming Thanksgiving Conferences. If such conferences are recorded, and if there is a desire to share them, then VFC will gladly digitize and return any messages sent.
Depending on just when we do purchase additional server space, there may be a period wherein no new monthly addition will be added, but rest assured that behind the scenes, we will be still seeking to grow.
Another area in which things are expanding is by the placing of computer hard drive copies of all VFC messages at key locations such as:

  • 1-Pittsboro Christian Village (in North Carolina)
  • 2-Park Of The Palms (in Florida)
  • 3-The Emmaus Bible College Library (in Iowa)

Additional locations may possibly be added as time passes, and as we have the resources to fulfill these hopes.
Please continue to lift this ministry up in prayer, and email us with any comments, ideas or questions.
Our primary email address continues to be Info@VoicesForChrist.org
Warmly In Christ, the VFC Team
