How it all works

Filed under: other — mike @ 11:38 am

Did you ever wonder how the old cassette and reel-to-reel tapes lying around in assembly libraries and people’s garages get turned into the nice MP3 messages you hear on the website?

Me too. I still can’t explain it, but these pictures just came in from the “manufacturing department.” Here’s how it seems to work:

1. Tapes arrive from somewhere.
Tapes arrive at VFC headquarters

2. Tapes get sorted by speaker, topic, etc.
Sorting through the treasure
3. Tapes get digitized six at a time
Entering the digital age
4. Tapes are organized and stored away.
Organizing the tapes
5. They show up on the website!!

So there it is. It’s a lot of work, but what a joy to see the Word of God going forth to so many places! And to be able to hear how some of the older brethren preached the word in days gone by is truly a blessing.

We hope you have enjoyed this VFC factory tour.
